Importing a Hyperbaric Chamber from China — Documentation Checklist
The documents your importer will ask for
We have exported chambers to 30+ countries. Here is the standard document set every importer asks for, in the order they ask:
- CE Declaration of Conformity (under EU MDR 2017/745) — for CE-marked units.
- ISO 13485 certificate — proves the factory QMS.
- Commercial invoice with unit price, HS code, Incoterm.
- Packing list with gross / net weight and dimensions.
- Bill of lading (sea) or air waybill.
- Test / QC report for the specific serial number.
- Free-sale certificate — some countries (Mexico, Saudi Arabia) require this for sanitary registration.
HS code
HBOT chambers classify under HS 9019.20 (oxygen-therapy apparatus). Confirm this with your broker before shipping — misclassification is the #1 reason customs holds a chamber at the port.
What we supply
Every OZ-150 ships with the CE DoC, ISO 13485 certificate, QC test report, English/Spanish manual and commercial invoice. If your country needs a free-sale certificate, we prepare it on request (usually 5 working days). We can also issue the invoice to your importer directly.
Common customs holds
- HS code wrong (declared as furniture or general medical instead of 9019.20).
- CE certificate not translated into Spanish / Arabic.
- Commercial invoice value too low (customs flags under-declaration).
- No free-sale certificate where the country requires one.
Tell us your destination country before order confirmation and we will pre-stage the exact document set your broker needs.
